Josef’s Wheat Free Cookies – A Way To Indulge Healthily

There’s a new movement taking hold. You’ve probably seen it in grocery stores and around town. It’s a return to the earth for what we eat and it can be defined by a simple phrase: “Only eat it if it’s a plant, or if it wasn’t made in one.”

Now, if you’re like me, you have a bad sweet tooth. And it’s hard to find snacks and cookies that don’t have preservatives and chemicals in them. So I’ve tried looking for other ways to indulge, healthily. Pickings have been slim. But then I discovered Josef’s gluten free cookies. Never did I imagine that a delicious snack could be wheat free cookies, but lo and behold, Josef’s has come to my rescue. Not only do Josef’s gluten free cookies not have any preservatives, but they’re vegan and nut free too, so my friends (a vegan and a peanut-allergic) can enjoy them with me.

And talk about tasty. Josef’s wheat free cookies are divine. They melt in your mouth. And I can have as many as I want! Because they’re actually good for you. I try to limit myself to about half a bag a day, and I’m doing a good job. It’s all thanks to Josef and his gluten free cookies.

Be Kind To Your Tummy - Eat Gluten Free Snack Products That Are Yummy!

Do you have villi? No, this isn't a music group! These little hair-like projections line your small intestine and absorb the nutrients in food. For some people, gluten can turn this carpeted passageway into a tile floor, causing inflammation and digestive problems. Gluten free cookies can be a way to get your comfort back and have your stomach agree.

Gluten free crackers may be the perfect snack for your afternoon break, and a relief to know that you are being gentle on yourself while enjoying a crunchy baked treat! If you shop a gluten free bakery, you will find products that are baked with a combination of several grains and fillers to give the texture familiar to wheat based goods.

Wheat free cookies avoid the gluten native to grass related grains including barley, wheat, and rye. Amaranth, buckwheat, quinoa, millet flour, potato starch, sorghum flour, and tapioca flour are ingredients that can bring a delightful new taste to foods while avoiding gluten. When handling dough that is gluten free, it is advisable to coat the hands with oil or wet them in water because the sheen produced by gluten is absent. Learning to bake without the inherent stretch or elasticity provided by the gluten in wheat can be a creative process.

Be kind to your tummy while eating a yummy gluten free snack. By the way since these products are also gluten free, wheat free, preservative free and completely kosher - they can also be enjoyed by people with Celiac disease and other digestive problems like Esophagitis and Acid reflux!
